Terms of Service

Welcome to KME Network. Please read these terms carefully before using our platform.

Last Updated: May 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the services provided by KME Network (a unit of Kamta Media & Entertainment), including our website, dashboard, and digital music distribution services. By registering an account and uploading content, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Grant of Rights & Copyright Ownership

You retain 100% ownership and copyright of your music. By using KME Network, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to distribute, sell, stream, and monetize your audio and artwork across our partner Digital Service Providers (DSPs) such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and telecom networks (Caller Tunes).

2. User Obligations & Original Content

You strictly represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have obtained all necessary legal rights, licenses, and permissions to distribute the content.
  • Your content does not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights of any third party.
  • You will not upload cover songs without obtaining the proper mechanical licenses.

3. Fraudulent Activity & Artificial Streaming

KME Network has a zero-tolerance policy towards artificial streaming, botting, click-farming, and copyright infringement. If DSPs (like Spotify or Apple Music) flag your content for fraudulent activity:

  • We reserve the right to immediately take down your content without prior notice.
  • Any royalties generated from artificial or fraudulent streams will be frozen, forfeited, or returned to the DSPs.
  • Your account may be permanently suspended or terminated.

4. Royalties & Payouts

We will pay you the royalties collected from DSPs based on the pricing plan you selected during registration. Please note:

  • Streaming platforms generally operate on a 60 to 90-day reporting delay. Your first royalty report will be available after this period.
  • Payouts are processed monthly directly to your registered bank account, provided you meet the minimum payout threshold.
  • KME Network is not responsible for delayed payouts caused by late reporting from third-party platforms.

5. YouTube Content ID Policy

If you opt-in for YouTube Content ID monetization, you confirm that your track contains 100% original material. Tracks containing non-exclusive beats (e.g., leased beats from BeatStars), un-cleared samples, or public domain audio are strictly prohibited from being submitted to the Content ID system.

6. Account Termination & Takedowns

You may request the removal of your content from DSPs at any time through your dashboard. Takedown requests typically take 7 to 14 business days to process across all platforms. KME Network also reserves the right to terminate your account if you violate any of these Terms and Conditions.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.
